THEO CROKER RELEASES NEW ALBUM, LOVE QUANTUM, AVAILABLE EVERYWHERE NOW
THEO CROKER releases his seventh studio album LOVE QUANTUM, available everywhere now from Star People Nation / Sony Music Masterworks. The album finds Croker making his first-ever foray into the concept of love, as he takes listeners on a journey of self-exploration through storytelling. Featured collaborators Jill Scott, Jamila Woods, Wyclef Jean, Ego Ella May, Teedra Moses, Chris Dave, Gary Bartz, James Tillman and Kassa Overall each imbue the album’s 11 tracks with personal narratives giving testament to love in all its various forms, resulting in a genre-defying discovery of the self and our shared human experience.
Of the album, Croker says, “It’s a love story. It’s a tribute to all the different levels of love that can exist – love of a friend, love of a partner, love of a parent, love of yourself and a love of life. It’s really about the journey of love, the experience of it, and how powerful that energy is for us as human beings.”
In celebration of today’s album release, Croker has unveiled a new visual for album track “LOVE THYSELF,” his self-love anthem featuring vocals by Teedra Moses – watch here. The video is the latest in a string of visuals released alongside album singles, beginning with introductory track “JAZZ IS DEAD” featuring Gary Bartz and Kassa Overall and followed by “TO BE WE” featuring Jill Scott, “SOMETHIN’” featuring Ego Ella May, and, most recently, “COSMIC INTERCOURSE (Pt. II)” featuring Chris Dave.
