Following last month’s release of his debut solo album Classic, HAUSER today unveils the latest music video for his rendition of Samuel Barber’s “Adagio for Strings” – watch here. Filmed at the Museum of Fine Arts in Budapest, the video is the latest in a series of visuals accompanying the new album, which features some of the most beloved classical melodies ever written, each a personal, longtime favorite of HAUSER he’s carefully curated and rearranged for the cello.
“’Adagio for Strings’ was a challenge to arrange for the cello, but I wanted to include it on the Classic album and have come to love the result,” says HAUSER of the track. “It is such an intense and emotional piece of music, I like the think of it as the most beautiful prayer.”
Having performed in sold-out arenas across the globe as one-half of renowned duo 2CELLOS, HAUSER takes the next step in his already successful career with the release of Classic, his debut solo album for Sony Classical.
