HAUSER DEBUTS NEW MUSIC VIDEO FOR “ADAGIO FOR STRINGS”

Following last month’s release of his debut solo album Classic, HAUSER today unveils the latest music video for his rendition of Samuel Barber’s “Adagio for Strings” – watch here.  Filmed at the Museum of Fine Arts in Budapest, the video is the latest in a series of visuals accompanying the new album, which features some of the most beloved classical melodies ever written, each a personal, longtime favorite of HAUSER he’s carefully curated and rearranged for the cello.

“’Adagio for Strings’ was a challenge to arrange for the cello, but I wanted to include it on the Classic album and have come to love the result,” says HAUSER of the track.  “It is such an intense and emotional piece of music, I like the think of it as the most beautiful prayer.”

Having performed in sold-out arenas across the globe as one-half of renowned duo 2CELLOS, HAUSER takes the next step in his already successful career with the release of Classic, his debut solo album for Sony Classical.  As visually creative as he is sonically, HAUSER continues to showcase his newest album Classic with gorgeous music videos for “Swan Lake,” “River Flows in You,” “Nessun Dorma,” “Air on a G String” and “The Nutcracker Suite.”

HAUSER is set to take the new album on a run of upcoming international tour dates, performing the album repertoire and other well-loved classics accompanied by a full orchestra in cities like Paris, London, Berlin, Milan, Budapest, Kiev, and more.  He will also bring his live show to North America with dates this July in Los Angeles, CA and alongside the National Symphony Orchestra at The Kennedy Center in Washington, DC.
