Entertainment Weekly Premieres Band of Merrymakers New Video for “Snow, Snow, Snow” Feat. Natasha Bedingfield, Owl City, Fitz of Fitz and the Tantrums, Mark McGrath
Entertainment Weekly is definitely feeling the holiday cheer by premiering Band of Merrymaker‘s “Snow Snow Snow” video which features ugly sweaters, a dozen Santa costumes, fake snow, and stars that we know and love.
The catchy tune captures everybody’s Christmas wish to see snow by starting us off with the chorus, “Snow! We want snow, we want snow, snow, snow!”. The song features vocals by Fitz of Fitz and The Tantrums, Mark McGrath, Natasha Bedingfield, Owl City, and Kevin Griffin of Better Than Ezra and captures the childish delight of getting in the holiday spirit.
In the article the masterminds behind the pop supergroup, producer Sam Hollander and Kevin Griffin from Better Than Ezra, share how they questioned themselves about today’s holiday albums and their desire to create unique Christmas songs for everyone to enjoy and love this holiday season and the next. After writing “Must Be Christmas” in July, they began approaching friends of the industry to join in and released the single, which took off. Then they decided to write and record the album Welcome to Our Christmas Party that features friends like 3OH!3, Alex & Sierra, Andrew McMahon (Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness), Bebe Rexha, Kelley, Christina Perri, Dan Wilson (Semisonic), David Hodges (Evanescence), David Ryan Harris, Firekid, Jason Wade (Lifehouse), Mark McGrath (Sugar Ray), Fitz, Bedingfield, Hexum, Owl City, Sinclair, Smallpools, Streetcorner Symphony, The Grand Southern, The Mowglis, and Glenn.
Today, EW is excited to share the video for “Snow Snow Snow” featuring a cameo from Andrew Keegan! Click here to read more about the Band of Merrymakers on Entertainment Weekly.
