TEENAGE SINGING SENSATION LEXI WALKER RELEASES FIRST FULL-LENGTH ALBUM INSPIRE

Featuring Two Original Songs Written by Lexi | Available on October 27

Portrait Records announces the release of INSPIRE, the first ever full-length album from America’s newest sweetheart, Lexi Walker. INSPIRE is available on October 27, 2017.

A follow-up to Lexi’s 2016 EP release, Wishes and Dreams, the new album – Inspire –  includes the songs from the EP “A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes” from Cinderella, “When You Wish Upon a Star” from Pinocchio and Celine Dion’s “The Power of the Dream,” plus iconic songs like “Don’t Rain On My Parade” and “Somewhere Over the Rainbow.”

INSPIRE also features two new original songs “Tiny Voice” and “Once More,” written by Lexi. Plus, on three of the songs, Lexi collaborated with guest artists including global YouTube superstars The Piano Guys (“What A Wonderful World”), Grammy-nominated violinist Jenny Oaks Baker (“The Prayer”) and vocal trio GENTRI (“When You Believe”).

“I’m so excited for this album and cannot wait to share it with everyone!” says Lexi. “These are all songs I love, plus having the chance to sing them with The Piano Guys, Kurt Bestor, Jenny Oaks Baker, and GENTRI made them even more special.  I especially love the originals that I did with Stephen Nelson and Anjanette Mickelsen.  In the end, I truly hope this music will uplift and inspire everyone who hears it!”

At two-years-old, Lexi Walker, the dynamic young songbird sang in front of her first crowd. A decade later, the angelic-voiced redhead from Salt Lake City, Utah signed to Portrait Records. Lexi starred in a viral video of “Let It Go” from Disney’s Frozen which has been seen by millions of people around the world.  She has appeared on America’s Got Talent, Good Morning America, Disney’s Frozen Christmas Celebration and The Queen Latifah Show; and sung with The Piano Guys, Kristin Chenoweth, and Lindsey Stirling.

To date, Lexi has performed in Las Vegas, Walt Disney World, Carnegie Hall, Radio City Music Hall, and The Kennedy Center, as well as singing the National Anthem at stadiums throughout the U.S. Overseas. Lexi has done a tour of Japan and performed in China at the Beijing International Film Festival.  She recently sang at the Presidential Inaugural Ball.
